Summer AcademyThe Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics is excited to off= er a five-day intensive project-based learning week where trainees will lea= rn hands-on techniques for integrating multi-scale neuroscience data. This = course is designed to introduce participants to the concepts and methods be= hind psychiatric neuroinformatics - encompassing genetics, brain structure = and function, and cognition. In addition, participants will uncover the lin= ks between modalities of human genomics, neuronal electrophysiology, struct= ural and functional neuroimaging, and observed behaviour that KCNI scientis= ts are integrating through a series of virtual modules and a group-based pr= oject using real-world data types to study mental illness.

The Krembil Centre for Neuroinformati= cs is pleased to launch a new Speaker Series highlighting exciting d= iscoveries, advancements and collaborations in Neuroinformatics. The s= eries features speakers from a wide range of backgrounds, expressing the di= versity of the Krembil Centre=E2=80=99s scientific breadth. Each month we w= ill hear a new perspective on the current state of multi-scale neuroscience= , from gene to circuits, from brain dynamics to cognitive modeling and popu= lations.
We welcome members of the broader com= munity to join us monthly for these open Speaker Series. See below for a sc= hedule of the upcoming speakers and view past speaker presentations. <= /span>Missed the talk? = Watch the recordings <= span style=3D"color: rgb(0,0,0);">here.
