  • Name:
  • Preferred name:
  • Pronouns:
  • Short Bio:
  • Email:
  • Github (if you have one):
  • LinkedIn (if you have one):
  • Personal page (if you have one):

You should see the Team page updated with you, as well as on the AID4MH website!

2. Getting added to our communication channels

At AID4MH, we have 2 main ways of communicating:

  • Slack: used for more casual conversations/discussions and quick questions
  • Emails: used for more official lines of communication, such as conversations with collaborators.

If you're...

  • Not added to the KCNI Slack (chances are, you already are), contact Sophie at sophie.lafaille@camh.ca to be added to Slack.
  • Added to Slack but not the lab channel (aid4mh-lab): message Ethan on Slack, and he'll add you in.

3. Getting access to the KCNI computing stack

Before you can access any of the remote CAMH computing resources, you have to do 2 things:

  1. Get a CAMH account. This will usually be done through onboarding from CAMH, but ask Sophie if needed ASAP.
  2. Request for an SCC (Specialized Computing Cluster) account.

Once you have those two accounts (they're separate!), you can access those resources through one of two ways:

Accessing through remote.camh.ca - using your own personal machine

  1. Navigate to remote.camh.ca
  2. Select "Basic Access"
  3. Use your CAMH account for logging in.
    1. Network User name: your CAMH username
    2. Network Password: your CAMH password
  4. Select "Corporate"
  5. Select Google Chrome

Once you're in Google Chrome, you can navigate to your desired IDE/preferred language using the links below. These links will not work unless you're in the CAMH Google Chrome!!

Accessing natively through a CAMH-approved machine:

More detailed instructions on using the SCC can be found here.
