| Short Bio: I have a B.Sc and M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Signal Processing applied to biomedical signals. I hold certifications in Neural Engineering, Advanced Signal Processing, and Deep Learning. I've received several research awards and co-authored a number of peer-reviewed publications. My research interests are: Electrophysiological and biomechanical signal processing, artificial intelligence in healthcare, computational neuroscience, and wearable medical device design. I have 10 years of combined experience in clinical and academic settings, and I co-founded and held the CTO position of a startup leading a novel design of a wearable non-invasive glucometer. Name: Sophia Xueyling Li | Short Bio: Sophia earned an Honours BSc degree in Pharmacology and Biomedical Toxicology from the University of Toronto, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Health Informatics at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, Dalla Lana School of Public Health at UofT.
