| Short Bio: I have a B.Sc and M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Signal Processing applied to biomedical signals. I hold certifications in Neural Engineering, Advanced Signal Processing, and Deep Learning. I've received several research awards and co-authored a number of peer-reviewed publications. My research interests are: Electrophysiological and biomechanical signal processing, artificial intelligence in healthcare, computational neuroscience, and wearable medical device design. I have 10 years of combined experience in clinical and academic settings, and I co-founded and held the CTO position of a startup leading a novel design of a wearable non-invasive glucometer.
