Accessing Sample Manager
LabKey has two components LabKey Server and Sample manager. If your study has sample manager enabled, then by default sample manager will be displayed when selecting a project from the home page.

Projects with sample manager enabled will have the abbreviation 'SM' added to the project's name as seen below:
After selecting the Sample Manager project, you will be redirected to the sample manager dashboard.
The dashboard provides a quick glance of the following:
- The total sample counts and status across studies.
- Freezer space usage.
