LabKey is a tool that is part of the CAMH Neuroinformatics Platform (NIP) and is primarily used to manage molecular data. LabKey has been customized to support Biobank and Molecular Core Services offered at CAMH. This system is designed to support management of the entire life cycle of biosamples including collection, processing, analyses, storage, and retrieval. LabKey can also be used by individual laboratories to support biosample and analyses management.

Training

Mandatory LabKey Training for New Users can must be completed by attending a WebEx meeting with the LabKey administrator. Training may be performed by a project team lead, assuming they have previously been trained on LabKey Server. A list of competencies can be obtained here.

New Project Request

If you would like to create a new project on the Neuroinformatics Platform, you can request a New Neuroinformatics/LabKey Project completing the following steps:

...

  • Complete the User Request Form. (If you know the project to which you would like access and the project has already been created on LabKey, please have the REB number and NIP Project code ready as you will need it to complete the form.)
